Apologies for the lack of photos on this one! Came to La Playita with friends while visiting Vegas. La Playita is another traditional Mexican restaurant with home style cooking. Food: We ordered the pan fried tilapia and flautas de pollo. The tilapia, see photo, was a much bigger portion then we had imagined. The onion on top gave a lot of flavor and the fish was cooked perfectly. I wish they had mentioned the onion on top, as it gave a lot of flavor, onion is not my favorite. The tilapia came with salad, fries, and rice!! The sides were very good as well. The flautas de pollo were well fried and tasty. My only issue was that they were a bit dry. The chicken did not have any sauces and as a result, when frying, it dried the chicken out. Ambiance: Felt a bit like diner seating with plenty of space. Service: The service was excellent. The waitress answered all of our questions and checked in frequently. La Playita had a strong showing and we would certainly go back.

This place was great! Huge menu, great food, and tasty drinks. The ceviche and the guacamole was great. The pescado plancha and the garlic pescado was AMAZING! Def eat here! Enjoy
This restaurant really doesn't look like much when you pull in, It's very small. BUT, omg, their food is delicious. It's definitely equally or better than la mojarra Loca without the hour plus wait. Everything was flavorful. The caldo 7 mares was the best I've tasted. We also had a coctel de camarón y pulpo, usually I have to add ketchup, salt, etc to make it taste great, this one came perfect, I didn't have to do anything to it. I complexity recommend this place! You will not regret stopping by.
